Legislative Update

By July 24th, 2007, every employer subject to the Fair Labor Standard Act’s minimum wage provisions must post, and keep posted, a notice explaining the Act in a conspicuous place in all of their establishments. The DOL has created a new, minimum wage poster for this use that meets the requirements of this law, which can be downloaded free.
 

Express Request:  Increase in Federal Minimum Wage Impacts States’ Minimum Wages - With the exception of a handful of states, states’ minimum wages will be impacted in some way by the July 24 increase in the Federal minimum wage.
